Avivah Helen Golian, MD
A native Angeleno, Avivah Helen Golian grew up in Los Angeles with an early fascination for medicine. After high school, she spent a transformative year volunteering with children battling cancer — an experience that shaped her understanding of what patients and families truly need during health challenges: presence, compassion, and unwavering support.
That calling led her to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where she served as co-president of the geriatrics club and took part in multiple research projects while developing a passion for caring for adults at every stage of life. She was honored with the Gold Humanism Honor Society Award for her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered medicine.
Dr. Golian returned home to Los Angeles for residency training at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, followed by eleven rewarding years at Cedars-Sinai. She cherished her patient relationships but often felt limited by the constraints of traditional practice — rushed appointments that left too little time for the thorough, personalized care her patients deserved.
Through Direct Primary Care, Dr. Golian can finally provide what's been missing: unhurried appointments, direct access when you need it, and a physician who knows you as a person, not just a chart. She remains affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, connecting her patients to one of the most highly regarded healthcare networks on the Westside — with coordinated access to leading subspecialists and advanced diagnostic resources.
